Durante la mañana de este martes, la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas anunciaron las nominaciones para la edición número 94, de los Premios Oscar donde el director mexicano Guillermo del Toro, logró consolidar cuatro nominaciones gracias a su reciente película titulada “Nightmare Alley”.
Tras el anuncio de la Academia para su próxima edición de los Oscar, un sinfín de internautas decidieron expresar su enojo al no ver a sus actores favoritos dentro de los nominados; sin embargo, otro lado del internet dejó un lado ese tema y se concentraron en todas las increíbles producciones que estarán intentando llevarse a casa una de las tan añoradas estatuillas.
La cinta con mayor número de nominaciones es The Power of the Dog, de la cineasta Jane Campion al concretar un total de 12, a la par le sigue Duna¸ una producción de ciencia ficción que cautivó a varias personas en todo el mundo, y no era para menos ver sus 10 nominaciones; el tercer lugar se lo lleva, Belfast de Kenneth Branagh con 7.
En tanto, Guillermo del Toro intentará volver a poner a México en alto, en las categorías de Mejor Película, Diseño de Producción, Diseño de Vestuario y Cinematográfica. De ser seleccionada como ganador, el mexicano subirá al escenario de los Premios Oscar este próximo 27 de marzo, en la ciudad de Los Ángeles.
